Everything you need to know before planting your first term.
What is spaced repetition?
Spaced repetition is a learning technique where review intervals gradually increase as you remember a term. Memorix schedules each term's next review based on how confidently you answered it — easy terms come back in days, difficult ones in hours.
How do the watering stages work?
Each term is a seedling that grows through 14 watering stages. Every correct answer advances it; a wrong or hesitant answer pulls it back a stage. Once a term reaches the final stage, it only needs watering every few weeks.
Can I create my own courses?
Yes. After signing up, visit library, and start creating your own course. Each course has a slug and a private editor — you can save drafts, preview, and publish when you're ready. Published courses appear in the browse immediately.
Is Memorix free to use?
Yes. Memorix is free for learners and authors. There is no paid tier and no usage cap on review sessions.
Can I study offline?
Review sessions require a connection so progress can sync to your account. Offline support is on the roadmap.
